Friday Night Foods

So I am (starting today) going to start posting every Friday about some sort of food related something. I know a lot of people who have their blogs and on a certain day they do something special so I am going to do mine on Fridays and its called "Friday Night Foods". I am going to major in Food and Beverage Management at Baker College in Muskegon Michigan so I thought this would be neat.

Tonight I am going to do Restaurant Reviews.
My first restaurant is Old Country Buffet.
So I hate the long walk when you first walk in to get to the cash register and I do believe it could be a little bit more cheap. The meat is very good and there is a large selection. It is very tender and well cooked. The Macaroni and Cheese is one of the best I have ever had. The salad and soup bar is good too, however I wish there was a little bit more soups and they were cooked frequently because they do get a little nasty some times. The dessert bar is amazing and they have cinnamon rolls and rice crispy treats so it all works out. The beverage counter is wonderful and I love the fact that you can get all the chocolate milk you want.So overall I would give this restaurant a B.

My First MLB Game

On Sunday I had the priviledge to go to my first Major League Baseball game. My best friend, Patrick Hester, invited me and we had a blast and a ton of memories. Although my favorite team is the Boston Red Sox, I have always wanted to go to Wrigley and am so glad for the opportunity.

DAVID COOK

This is only the second year I have really made sure I watched American Idol and I am glad I have. Last year my favorite was Chris Daughtry and I believe he got screwed over. About five minutes ago the results for the final two were released and Cook is in it baby!!! GO DAVID COOK

This is one of my favorite bands and one of my favorite songs so I was so glad to hear him sing it yesterday.

I realize that for most of you this video is probably not NEW. I just happen to be on Youtube today and found it. I think it is really one of the coolest videos I have seen in a long time.

WHO

Titans second pick in the NFL draft is Jason Jones. A defensive Lineman from Eastern Michigan. Here is an article about him
In 45 games at Eastern Michigan, Jones started 33 times on defense and three times on offense. He collected 175 tackles (101 solos) with 14 sacks for minus-101 yards and ranks second in school history with 50 stops for losses of 194 yards. He generated 18 quarterback pressures, recovered one fumble and caused three others. He deflected three passes, blocked a kick and registered a safety. He also caught four passes for 12 yards.

I told you So

I said I wouldn't mind having Johnson. Heres a story about him.
Chris Johnson was the fastest player at the 2008 NFL Scouting combine running an amazing 4.25 forty. He also recorded a nice 10' 10" broad jump. Johnson could easily be a late first round draft pick now, speed can't be taught, and for teams needing an explosive offensive playmaker, the tease of Johnson's game breaking speed will be to hard to pass up.

THE DRAFT

The Draft begins today and I am hoping the Titans will make their first selection be something to help our quarterback Vince Young. I honestly wouldn't mind if we used our first pick to get a running back. I hope we get Limas Sweed from Texas to help Vince. At some point get Ray Rice, Mike Hart or Chris Johnson to help Lendale White. I would also like for us to pick up Marcus Griffin so we can have the Griffin brothers in the corners. I as well wold love for us to pick up Trevor Laws, Tommy Z, or John Carlson from Notre Dame. Good Luck for everyone and their teams. I cant wait for football to start back up.
