Since Christmas Eve night I have been very busy and in fact out of town. I had an amazing Christmas Day and weekend with my best friend, Hester!

So, I know I have not been posting regularly like I say I am going to and I know I always say I will post more, well, the fact is, I did not.

Coming Back

Charlie Weis will be coming back for a 5th season next year.

He spoke to the media at the football banquet.

Here is what he had to say,

"6-6 is not acceptable," Weis explained. "I think that it's important that you are moving towards the BCS discussion. I don't think you can just be a mediocre football team at Notre Dame." "I'm not saying you need to be playing for the national championship ever year but you have to be in the discussion. If you are not in the discussion, I don't think that's anything anyone that went to Notre Dame or roots for Notre Dame would be looking for." "Decent is not what Notre Dame is looking for," Weis said. "Notre Dame is looking for a good team and I think that's the next logical step that you are looking for."

That is the kind of coach I want to have. One who knows that "decent" is not good enough.
